Inspiring Confidence and Belief: I CAN WE CAN at Peel Police YIPI – 2025

Through the ICAN WE CAN initiative, Peter Tolias is committed to empowering youth with the mindset and tools needed to build a strong future. Every opportunity to connect with young people is a chance to reinforce confidence, self-belief, and the understanding that anything is possible with focus and determination.

Peter had the opportunity to speak with participants in the Peel Police Youth in Policing Initiative (YIPI), a program dedicated to developing leadership and life skills among youth across the Peel Region.

The session was filled with energy and engagement, but what made it especially memorable was the powerful closing moment. George the ICan Kid joined Peter on stage to lead the crowd in the well-known “I CAN / WE CAN” chant. Together, they created an atmosphere of unity, motivation, and belief.

Through their message, students were reminded that no matter their background, age, or circumstances, they have the ability to achieve great things. The session left youth feeling energized, focused, and ready to take action toward their goals.
